Wendy Cheng joins the lab from Tetrad, right before lab ventures to CSHL neurobiology of Drosophila. Welcome Wendy, and good teamwork helping Liz with lobster dissections! Ryan presents a flash talk and poster at Simon's structural plasticity and the aging brain. John survives two talks while concussed (many apologies to the Simon's audience). Fei-Yang's sphingolipid profiling paper, with Magaly's lipidomics of CG3376, nSmase, and CG6962, is accepted at Embo Reports. John visits Fei-Yang and Chih-Chiang Chan at ​APDRC7 and NTU to chat lipids!
